Singer-songwriter Whitney Thorn is a 50-year-old recovered crystal meth addict and the son of country music royalty. Struggling comedian Graham Morrow is 35 and living with his mother. After meeting at an unauthorized, socially distanced show in a Louisiana field, they take a chance on shacking up together.  

Their refuge offers time for art, intimacy, and unexpected love. But as COVID deaths rise and hurricanes batter the South, the outside world closes in. Surgery and pain medication threaten Whitney's sobriety, while illness and loss strike those they love.
